Hi everyone. This is a bit like the joke that says "What was there before candles?" Reply: "Electricity!" Mine goes "What did you have before a Cellphone?" Answer: "Landline." Cadeau no longer has access to a landline. The cable has been stolen, and Telcom is not replacing cables any more. Perhaps in a year or so some alternative service will be offered, but at the moment Telcom offers no service here. Consequently bookings can be made online or on the cellular 083 4087055. I am sorry if this is inconvenient, and I know cell connections are sometimes poor. However, I do carry the cell around, and I will answer the phone or ring you back if you leave a message. Thank you for bringing your pets to Cadeau.
  Welcome to Cadeau Kennels!

Experienced staff
Cadeau Kennels & Cattery is staffed by experienced people who have spent years developing a system of caring for boarded pets, ensuring their comfort and minimizing kennel stress.

Secure layout
The kennel yard is laid out with only one entrance and exit, through the office, in order to exclude the possibility of any dogs getting out.

Excellent facilities
The cattery pens are enclosed in brick and small mesh wire, under a steel roof.

There are two blocks of dog kennels. One is for large breeds, and one block for small breeds. The kennels are built of strong mesh wire on several courses of face brick walling, with shade cloth cover. The low walls ensure adequate ventilation and air movement during the summer time. There is a brick sleeping quarter supplied with a board and blanket, for dogs who want to snooze.

Bitches in season are housed in a row where no male dogs enter.

Safety and security
The perimeter of the kennel yard is marked by a six foot precast wall, topped with a foot of wire mesh. We have not had a dog escape since we went into business in 1980.

Exercise
When large dogs are out for exercise they have the run of the large yard and an opportunity to interact with the staff working there. Small breeds are brought out for exercise in a smaller yard strongly fenced, and including shade trees.

Every feature of the kennel is aimed at ensuring safety and comfort for pets.
